The victim made a large cash withdrawal at a bank in the CBD at around 12.20pm and then drove to an address along Cardigan Street.

As she took her handbag out of the vehicle’s boot, a man walked up to her and pointed a gun at her.

The robber grabbed her handbag and ran to a nearby vehicle – a grey Toyota Yaris – and climbed in.

The vehicle, which had three other occupants, then drove off.

Other valuables inside the handbag included a pair of reading spectacles, bank and credit cards, and identity documents.

They returned to the Golf and drove off.
